The Toyko turnip is a beautifully crunchy, juicy small turnip. When raw, the flavour is bittersweet, when steamed it becomes buttery and delicate. They are delicious sliced raw and served with a sprinkle of sea salt or steamed. You can even cook their green stems too. As with radishes, their flavour intensifies when pickled, or sweetens when roasted.
