Radicchio rosso di treviso tardivo is very similar to the Treviso, but the leaves are shorter, thinner and elongated. The taste is a little sweeter.The colour is a bright, intense red, contrasting with a white root. It is mainly used in cooking, great baked or grilled, with a hint of oil and a pinch of salt.
