Sorrel is an incredibly flavoursome leaf, full of a tangy, lemony flavour reminiscent of gooseberries. Acidic and sour, their texture is smooth and crisp making them a welcome addition to salads. They are also fantastic cooked in soups or purees and compliments fish particularly well, especially oily mackerel or sardines.
