Cime di Rapa is one of our favourite autumn and winter vegetables. Also known as broccoli rabe or turnip tops, they are a wilder member of the broccoli family with small, loose florets and tasty leaves. They are packed with turnipy flavour and mustardy overtones.

You can eat the whole thing (aside from the tougher part of the stalk) and are delicious boiled then sautéed and traditionally served with orecchiette.
