Cavolo Verza or Savoy Cabbage is a rich dark green cabbage with magnificently full flavour and rich texture. The inner leaves often lighter in color than the rich green of the outer leaves because they are protected from the sunlight. This cabbage is an excellent source of vitamin C and is exceptional in cooked dishes.
