Polenta Taragna is traditionally from Valtellina in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. It has been stone milled and mixed with buckwheat for a richer, rougher texture and a slightly nutty bitter flavour. This fantastic polenta has no preservatives. Enjoy it traditionally with chunks of cheese mixed in at the last minute, then pour melted butter with sage and garlic over it.
