From the valleys of west Liguria come these famous and tasty black olives similar to the Taggiasche olives, picked and straightaway conserved naturally in brine to maintain the typical and characteristic taste unchanged. Prepared according to a recipe that has been for generations in the Sommariva family. Now as then the recipe has remained the same: water, salt and a rich variety of locally grown herbs.
These tasty olives are first aromatized in brine and then accurately pitted and placed in extra virgin olive oil which gives a distinctive flavour. Savoury and delicious, also ideal for cooking or as aperitif.
