Vostizza currants are the finest variety produced anywhere in the world. The grapes for these fantastic currants are exclusively grown high in the hills surrounding Vostizza in Greece, where the soil and climate gives them the absolute best conditions to grow. They are so good that they have been awarded Protected Designation of Origin since 1993.

It takes 5 tonnes of grapes to produce 1 tonne of currants and they are dried in a traditional manner, exposing them to sun and shade alternately. The slow process gives the currants a rich flavour, soft texture and high levels of natural sugars.
