Fermented in cask and given nine months on its lees, Bouzereau is determined that his wines will smell and taste only of wine, the importance of new wood is acknowledged but downplayed. The ‘Grands Charrons’ is smooth, elegant and floral, with notes of apples and peaches behind. Well balanced between richness of fruit and fresh, citrus acidity.
