This wonderful soft cheese is smaller than Brie de Meaux but stronger in flavour and smell. It has a soft, melting centre and an aromatic rind. It is best enjoyed from April to September after an ageing of 10 weeks, but is also good from March to December.Brie de Melun is known as an 'aged brie' or 'black brie'. This version won the gold medal an Concours Melun in 2010 - truly superb!
