One of the larger cuts of lamb, shoulder has fantastic flavour, especially when it comes from such amazing quality lamb. At Natoora we believe this is superb value and one of the most underrated cuts. At roughly half the cost of leg of lamb, its flavour is significantly more complex. If you slow cook it for over 4 hours, or grill it gently on the BBQ you will have a superb piece of meat.

Although many cooks believe that a bone-in roast produces better flavour, the complex bone structure of the shoulder makes it difficult to carve - should you want an easier option, try the 'Easy-Carve Lamb Shoulder' instead.
