We also engage directly with home cooks in our stores and concessions across London, actively seeking to change the way people understand fresh produce. Ultimately our goal is to create a more meaningful and responsible food system that preserves seed varieties, growing techniques and traditions that are threatened by modern industrial farming and supermarket culture.
ABOUT THE JOB
We’re seeking an ambitious and creative Head of Marketing who can engage consumers and chefs with our revolutionary mission to change the food system for the better.
A fearless commercial marketer with experience in developing challenger brand campaigns that have had a lasting impact, you will know how to coordinate a team and develop a unique communications strategy that pushes boundaries while staying on brand.
Commercially minded and data driven as well as flexible and hands-on, you will have the essential combination of commitment, creativity and pragmatism to lead incredible campaigns that tackle a flawed supply chain and address issues central to the food industry. You’ll know how to create impactful content with a conscience that reaches consumers as well as chefs, develop social media channels that gain more than just Likes, programme events that spark great conversations, and use innovative routes into new markets and press so that our mission gets heard.
This is an incredible opportunity to create and implement a global marketing strategy that supports our position as a thought leader in the food industry. More than just growing sales, your role will be to actively help people gain a better understanding of fresh produce and develop a better, more responsible food system through effective communication.
- You have 7+ years’ international marketing experience, ideally for a challenger brand (not necessarily within the food industry)
- You know how to drive and inspire a creative team to deliver incredible campaigns
- You have commercial awareness and analytical wherewithal as well as creative flair
- You have lots of brilliant ideas and a clear strategy that will bring the most daring ones to life
- You have a strong sense of integrity and like to lead by example
- You want to apply your marketing skills to a meaningful mission that you can wholeheartedly get behind
