Large Sicilian Tarocco Oranges

At Natoora, we love finding those extra special products that not only taste fantastic, but make us unique. This week our leafy Sicilian oranges are at their peak and are well worth shouting about! They aren’t the kind of oranges you’ll find in the supermarket, so…what makes them so special?

Taste: It is no surprise that they are one of the most popular oranges in Italy! Now in peak season, they are extremely large, packed with sweetness and plenty of juice.

Region: Our Tarocco oranges are from Sicily, arguably the best orange producing region in the world. These Tarocco are the best of the best, especially when compared with supermarket varieties imported from places such as Morocco and South Africa.

Quality: We only buy the absolute finest grade oranges available in the market.

Size: Our Sicilian oranges are a lot larger than any you will find in the supermarket! Each orange weighs around 450g, compared to supermarket varieties of around 150g.

Cost: We always let you know the price per kg so you can easily compare our prices. These superb Tarocco oranges work out cheaper per kilo than so called “premium” varieties found in the supermarket. Due to their size an individual orange may, at first glance, appear more expensive, but their size means you are getting a lot more orange for your money!
